Sealine F34 “Flybridge of the Year ” at MBM awards for 2004

Capturing the title “Boat of the Year” from one of the most respected magazines in the nautical press is an accomplishment in itself, add to that the title “Flybridge of the Year” and this gives you an indication of just how special the F34 really is.
For Sealine, it is confirmation of a job well done, but also encouragement to continue to push the limits of boat design and build.
Described by Motor Boats Monthly as “exceeding every expectation for its class”, the F34 is unique as an entry level flybridge motor cruiser because it combines spacious accommodation with optimal performance to give it that “big boat feel”.
The overwhelming success of the F34 on the market is a testament to its design quality which comes at a surprisingly competitive price. A rare package that is recognised and appreciated by customers and press alike.
Part of the F-series range, Sealine’s distinctive flair for innovation can be seen throughout the layout, and there is no compromise in the design of the interior. With increased headroom and storage facilities, the F34 is also highly versatile with such features as the transformable ottoman that can be used as a single seat, fold-out bench, and double bed.
Moving into the cockpit, Sealine have applied their patented SECS™ system, first introduced on the F42/5, so that the transom and bathing platform can be extended adding a further 19 inches of deck space when fully extended. There is dedicated life raft and fender storage plus concealed and protected battery switches and ship to shore socket.
On the flybridge there is a large sun bed and improved seating and driving positions. The walkways around the flybridge have been extended for added safety, and there is also a new design for the radar arch which offers less wind resistance. Offered with power from twin 170hp to 230hp, the F34 provides safe family cruising with speeds of up to 30 knots.
The galley is another outstanding feature of the F34. It has been manufactured to look like an integral piece of furniture within the saloon and marks a new direction in galley design. Each of the components within the galley is cleverly engineered to maximise space and functionality, while preserving aesthetic appeal. For example, the work surface is cleverly engineered to extend to the left when the hob is being used so no space is lost, and the hob is accessible either by lifting a hinged lid or sliding the work surface across.
In addition, there are twin sinks with an end section of the galley that pulls out to give full depth storage space. It is separated into bespoke bottle/ plate/ can storage areas, and there is also a separate compartment for the waste bin. There is a large refrigerator and an optional bespoke cutlery drawer, with a gas hob and oven as standard but with an optional upgrade to a full or partial electric galley with the addition of a generator.
Commenting on the success of the F34, Managing Director, Patrik von Sydow adds; “For a customer, choosing the F34 enables you to enjoy the best of both worlds; offering excellent cruising ability and sure handling, together with a large flybridge and extending cockpit for entertaining. With its innovative design, and now the public recognition of these qualities; it seems inevitable that the Sealine F34 will continue to lead the field as our entry level flybridge motor cruiser.”
